Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 September 2026
1. The service
uPick is a free mobile app for discovering events around you, making plans with friends and keeping what you are going to in one place. By using it you accept these terms.
2. Your account
- You must be over 13.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
- Keep your account secure; do not share your password.
- You can delete your account from within the app at any time.
3. Content rules
In chats, plans and your profile, the following are prohibited:
- Insults, harassment, threats, hate speech
- Sexual content or violent imagery
- Impersonating someone else
- Spam, fraud, unsolicited advertising
- Encouraging illegal activity
You can block any user and report any message in the app. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours; violating content is removed and accounts are closed where necessary.
4. Event information
Events are collected from ticketing sites and venues' own announcements. We cannot guarantee that dates, times, prices or venues are correct — confirm on the seller's page before you go. The "Buy ticket" button takes you to the seller's site; there are no in-app ticket sales, and any purchase is a contract between you and that seller, not us.
5. Meeting people
uPick brings people together but does not organise meetups. When meeting someone you do not know, choose public places and tell someone you trust. We are not responsible for what happens between users.
6. Availability
The app is provided "as is". We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may change, suspend or discontinue the service. If it shuts down permanently, we will give notice in advance.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the app. As the service is free, total liability is zero.
8. Account termination
We may close accounts that violate these terms without warning. To appeal, write to the support address.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Istanbul courts have jurisdiction over disputes.
